Residence Castello Torre Baldo, an authentic fortress dating back from the 11th century, was enlarged in the 17th century and largely restored in the 19th century. It still preserves the 4 watch towers and many precious original details. The present owners have just carried out extensive conservative restoration work. The complex is fully finished to very high standard internally and externally. Special attention was taken over the finish and quality of the work and the building material. Each of the 15 apartments is extremely comfortable and has been lovingly decorated and elegantly furnished. The roof is made with old traditional tiles and the ceilings have imposing beams of chestnut. Old doors restored to their original colors. Parquet flooring throughout. Ancient stone fireplace to complete the warm atmosphere of the place. The apartments are divided into 2 types; 1 bedroom + sofa bed and 2 bedrooms + sofa bed.
Each apartment has a spacious sitting room with a fully equipped cooking corner, a sofa-bed and a TV, one or two double bedrooms and a bathroom. Enchanting views over green rolling Umbrian landscape. The castle is surrounded by an almost 17,000 sq m large park, with parking areas, a barbecue area and a tennis court + swimming pool for the exclusive use of the guests/owners of the units + tracks for walks in the nature. Tennis court and swimming pool are planned and will be ready during before the summer of 2009.
