Villa Fiorita (Florentine Hills) (250m2) is the ideal setting for those who dream of a holiday in Tuscany surrounded by nature yet only 20 minutes away from the historical center of Florence.

The villa, set in the Florentine hills at a height of 350m with olive trees, oaks and pines all around, offers stunning views over the Arno valley and the charming Tuscan towns nearby. Consisting of four different levels villa Fiorita has recently been restored keeping the characteristics of a country house of the 1800’s. The tiled floors and beamed ceilings give the atmosphere an air of the past. La Fiorita offers its guests many activities: walks in the hills amongst lakes and fields, relaxing by the pool or visits to Tuscany’s many treasures (the Chianti or art cities like Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa or Arezzo) and, of course, Florence. The villa is located in what they call a 'Borgo' (hamlet) with next to it a couple of other houses and villas.

The grounds
The villa has ample covered parking for two guest cars and a tree-shaded area for dogs that borders the swimming pool zone. The entrance to the house gives onto a gravel drive where there is an arbour with vines and tables and chairs under two tall firs. The guest house comprises 3 floors: the entrance level (kitchen, washroom, lounge and small bathroom), the first floor (3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower) and the attic (one bedroom and bathroom with shower).

The Swimming pool
Your stay at La Fiorita is enhanced by a lovely pool (general depth 1.10m, diving area depth 2.10m).

The interior
The four bedrooms are decorated with fine fabrics and original antique furniture from the 1800’s. On the ground floor is the living room/dining room with open fire-place and cooking area (cooker, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, food-trolley) and bathroom. In the lounge there is a television with terrestrial and satellite channels as well as a stereo system. There is also a wide selection of books to read.

On the first floor of the villa there is one double bedroom, two twin-bedded rooms, one bathroom with jacuzzi-shower-sauna and one bathroom with shower. In the attic is another double room with shower. Children’s cots can be added on request.

For the guest’s security there is an internal wall-mounted safe and the building is fitted with an alarm system, controlled by numeric coding. Guests will be given a code and instructions on how to use the system. In the small washroom there is a modern washing machine and ironing board.
There is also a central-heating system.

La Fiorita is only 20 minutes away from Florence’s historic centre, where you can admire museums and great works of art, for example the Uffizi Galleries, Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Belltower Michelangelo’s David, the “Ponte Vecchio”, the churches of Santa Croce, S Miniato and Santa Maria Novella, along with places like the Pitti palace, Boboli Gardens, Piazzale Michelangelo and Fiesole………

For those who love sport and the outdoors, close by there are stables for horseriding and a golf course.There are also pleasantly-situated restaurants in the vicinity so you can try typical Tuscan cuisine.
