Palazzo Alfieri 2 + 2 comprises six apartments; Machiavelli, Petrarca, Botticelli, Cimabue, Donatello and Brunelleschi all being comfortable and large one-bedroom apartments with a large sofa bed for two, located on the charming Piazza de' Ciompi.

Appartamento Machiavelli: 80 sqmts, located on the first floor (with elevator) overlooking Piazza Ciompi. This three-roomed-apartment consists of an entrance, a large living room, a modern and fully equipped kitchen, a twin bedroom (queen bed on request) and a bathroom with shower. A comfortable double sofa bed is available in the living room.

Apartment Petrarca: 60 sqmts located on the first floor (with elevator) overlooking Via di Mezzo.Two-roomed-apartment consisting of an entrance, a large living room with a well equipped kitchen-corner, a twin bedroom (queen bed on request) and a large bathroom with shower. A double sofa bed is available in the living room. This wonderful apartment has private terrace of 47 square meters wide.

Apartment Botticelli : 80 sqmts. This three room- apartment is on the second floor (with elevator) overlooking Piazza Ciompi. It consists of an entrance, a living room with fresco ceiling dating back to the XIX Century. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a twin bedroom (queen bed on request) and a large bathroom with shower. A double sofa bed is available in the living room.

Apartment Cimabue: 60 sqmts is located on the second floor (with elevator) overlooking Via di Mezzo. This comfortable two-roomed-apartment consists of an entrance, a large living room with a well equipped kitchen-corner, a twin bedroom (queen bed on request) and a bathroom with shower.

Apartment Donatello 80 sqmts is located on the third floor (with elevator) overlooking Piazza Ciompi. The apartment has hree rooms and consists of a large living room with fresco ceiling dating back to the XIX Century, a well equipped kitchen, a double bedroom (twin beds on request) and a bathroom with shower. PALAZZO ALFIERI (Piazza de' Ciompi)
Palazzo Alfieri formerly Palazzo Pascolutti- Giani is a 19th Century building composed of 21 completely renovated apartments.
The building was previously home to the Accademia dei Risoluti, which gave birth to the theatre named Alfieri. On the main gate there is an engraving of the Cavallo Sfrenato ( the galloping horse) symbol of the Accademia dei Risoluti whose motto was valoroso destrier passa e non cura, (brave horse passing without fear).

The building is found in Via Pietrapiana at the point where the road meets Piazza Ciompi. In this very noble square, where the Ghiberti family lived, and situated opposite Palazzo Ciompi there is Loggia del Pesce, designed by Vasari simple and straight in design and composed of 18 thin Doric columns with a variety of small round terracotta fish.

In Piazza dei Ciompi there is probably the only fixed flea marked in Italy, open every day, morning and evening. It is possible to find old lamps, books, bijou and various objects from the recent and distant past. Every last Sunday of the month the market becomes larger by about another 100 stalls distributed in the streets around the Piazza.

Palazzo Alfieri is located in the centre of the old city about 150 metres from the square of Santa Croce, 350 metres from Piazza del Duomo and about 500 metres from Via Tornabuoni.

In the building there are two modern elevators to get to the apartments. In front of the building there is car parking for about 12 cars.
Inside there is a reception area to receive and assist guests. Every apartment has central heating, air conditioning telephone and separate connections for internet and satellite TV. There is also a fully fitted corner kitchen which included cooker, oven, dish washer and fridge.
On every floor there are washing machines and tumble dryers at the disposition of the guests.
