La Cisterna is part of the 3 unique vacation properties that together form the Sponda Complex.
The Cisterna dates back to the 13th century when it worked as a fortress and light house. The Cisterna, next to the Tower Sponda, functioned as a storage room for water. The Cisterna has a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms; a double bed and two single beds that can be joined as one large double bed, and two baths. One with tub, one with shower. The villa has a very large private garden terrace with a exquisite view of the Galli Islands and the Amalfi coast. It is located next to La Torre Sponda.
The property can be reached from the main road after about 50 easy steps. On top of the Cisterna we'll find the Piccola Cisterna, also part of the Sponda complex. This is the ideal place for a larger group to share the 3 properties, or for a group or family of 4 that wants complete privacy, a large terrace. You can look all the way towards Capri meanwhile enjoying te sun set.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite bath with tub and stall shower. The second bedroom opens to the garden terrace with twin beds and ensuite bathroom with shower. The living dining room is furnished with comfortable period furniture, television and telephone. From the terrace there is a private staircase to a semi-private beach. The rental price includes one linen change and cleaning per week.
