Casa Margherita is a wonderful 1 bedroom holiday villa in the center of Positano on the same road that leads into the center of Positano, viale Pasitea, just after the Best Western hotel Pasitea. This is a great example of old Positano architecture; a house from the late ‘1700 and carved out in the rocks with gorgeous sea views. This house is decorated with great taste and care. If you walk down a few steps, just off the Pasitea road you will enter the house through a terrace that is bathed in flowers and plants that reminds you of a tropical garden.

The living room of this Positano villa is large and cosy with a fire place and two comfortable couches that serve as two separate beds that can also be put together. Among the furniture you will find some lovely antique peaces. The house has typical vault ceilings that are so typical for this Mediterranean holiday village. Air conditioning is available at an additional cost.

The bathroom is large and has a tub. The kitchen is large and comfortable where you can eat with the whole family. The bedroom has a king seize double bed and is very fresh because of the terracotta floor and the walls that are 1 meter thick. This house is great for a couple or for 4 persons that appreciate to be in a typical Positano house with great class and a lovely terrace.

Casa Margherita is great place for a quiet off season property rental. Close to some good restaurants, and stores for grocery shopping. A nice 15 minute downhill walk to the center of Positano, and a 2 euro bus ride back up.

Margherita is very nice and her Il Fornillo restaurant is very good and reasonable.

The only issue are the 2 barking dogs next door, which seem to come alive at night, making sleeping a problem. A Big Problem!

Il soggiorno è stato piacevole, l'appartamento è fresco, con una bella vista. Anche se c'è un pò di strada da fare a piedi per raggiungere la spiaggia. Complessivamente buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. -We had a pleasant stay, the apartment is well aired and with a nice view. It takes a bit to get to the beach. Overall, it is a great and well-priced property.
