Very Special Independent One Bedroom Vacation Cottage
Casa Cisterna is a very special independent one bedroom vacation cottage, located in the sunniest part of Positano, called Arienzo. This small free standing house can only be reached by 290 steps. Although this may sound a lot, the steps are not difficult and the result is rewarding; from here you can look all the way until Capri and you look down on Positano.
Casa Cisterna was in fact an old water reservoir and the structure has been maintained. The proprietor has used all natural local materials and the large wooden floors combine very well with the natural rocky stone. Cisterna is surrounded by a very large private terrace where you can find a small natural pool from where you look out on Positano. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and a very nice bathroom with a large organically shaped tub with a large overhead rain-shower. The living room is cosy with a functioning fire-place. From here you can go upstairs to the double bedroom. The vaulted ceiling and round shaped windows give the impression to be inside a boat. Air conditioning is available.
The Cisterna gives also access to a small private romantic beach. Free parking is available. Once you are on road level you are very close to Positano, only 500 meters you are in the heart of town. There is also property autonomous heating so this property makes winter rental very attractive with the nice fire-place.
Casa Cisterna is for people that are looking for a very private and silent place that offers the best views possible and at the same time offers the comforts of a small pool and large private terrace.
