Casa Segneri B is a spacious and bright centrally located apartment in the Trastevere area sleeping 8 to 10 persons. Located in an elegant and quiete area of the city next to the famous Trastevere, lively charming and culturally fascinating. The apartment, 125 square metres big, has just been restructured and it is placed on the 3rd floor with lift inside a liberty style building of the early 1900. It is made of a large square living room with sofa bed, a big fully equipped kitchen, a mezzanine with a double bed, two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, one bathroom with tub, one bathroom with shower. It is provided with air conditioning in each room , tv, dish washer, frigo with freezer and washing machine (bed for babies available on request).
This area includes two neighbourhoods: Trastevere and Monteverde. The Trastevere area consists of a maze of narrow streets that is still, despite the evident gentrification, one of the city's most authentically Roman neighbourhoods.. The narrow paved streets and allays are plenty of cinemas, cafés and restaurants with tables scattered in pavement, mostly at Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere and in Viale Trastevere. The churches of Santa Cecilia and San Francesco a Ripa are very remarkable. Built at the bottom of the janiculum hill, Monteverde quarter, while being in close proximity to the historical hearth of the city, offers the quiet and comfort of a residential area. We suggest: a walk to the top of the Janiculum hill (from Piazza Garibaldi you can enjoy a spectacular and romantic view of the city), il Fontanone (Gianicolo's fountain), the church of S.Pietro in Montorio, by the Bramante (the church is built on the spot where, according to the legend, S Peter was crucified), the Basilica of S.Pancrazio and the catacombs built underneath it, Villa Doria-Pamphili and Villa Sciarra and the surrounding parks.
